To reach Freeport from the South:

• Follow Interstate 95 to Exit 44 for Route 295 North through Portland to Freeport; take either Exit 20 or Exit 22.
• If you take Exit 20, turn right to go through Freeport on Main Street
• If you take Exit 22, at the end of the exit ramp turn left onto Route 125 / Mallett Drive (most B&B's are to the left, here. Royalsborough Inn is to the right on Mallett Drive, then right at Route 136).
• Proceed 1/3 mile to stop light.
• At stoplight, turn right to enter the Freeport Village area, or
• Turn left to find more B&B's.

To reach Freeport from the North:

• Follow Route 295 South to Exit 22 or Exit 20.
• If you take Exit 22, at the end of the exit ramp turn left onto route 125 / Mallett Drive, then right at Route 125 to reach Royalsborough Inn, or turn right onto route 125 / Mallett Drive for the other B&Bs.
• Proceed 1/3 mile to stop light.
• At stoplight, turn left to find more B&B's, or turn right to enter Freeport Village.
• If you take Exit 20, turn left at stop sign, then follow Route 1 back through Freeport on Main Street.
